Some of Astryd's Bigger Wins to date: 06/01/08 - Astryd too has had a successful 2007 taking out the #1 JAPANESE SPITZ PUPPY IN QLD on the Dogzonline Pointscore (http://www.dogzonline.com.au/showdog2007/topbybreed.asp?breed=1060)! Although still young and lacking the finish of older bitches (plus a litter in the later part of 2007), Astryd has still managed to take a number of Bitch CC’s, Reserve CC and Runner-Up Best of Breeds over both mature and titles dogs and bitches – taking her closer to her Australian Championship title. Not to mention the multiple championship show Class in Group wins (at every age level) she has under her belt and she has not long entered the Junior Class… Hopefully 2008 will be her year!!
01/09/07 - Some excellent results for Kimyata this weekend at the Burnett/Wondai double header show. We were very excited to have our gorgeous Astryd "Kimyata Deja Vous" take Bitch CC (8 points), Runner Up Best of Breed & JUNIOR IN GROUP at Burnett Kennel Club Inc under Judge Miss D. Norman. There were 8 Japanese Spitz entered so it was an EXCELLENT result for such a young girl. Astryd is a very moody young girl who doesn't always perform as well as we know she can, so I was very happy with this result and to have the judge comment on how lovely and sound she thought she was, was the icing on the cake!
22/04/07 - This weekend we travelled to Rockhampton (10 hours away) to visit my mother's Aunty and Grandmother. On our way home we attended the Mt Perry Show, Mt Perry is a country town west of Bundaberg. It was very hot, dry and dusty day. Oreo was awarded Best of Breed and Astryd Challenge Bitch, Astryd then went on to take Puppy in Group out of a nice entry of puppies. My mother also took Best of Breed with her Cavalier Cardi who now has 83 points to go towards his Grand title... one of Mum's younger boys Brock also took Minor in Group. It was a nice but long day...
02/04/07 - Kimyata had a very successful weekend, with lovely results over the two days. On Saturday we attended the Warwick Show and Rodeo Socitey under Mr S. Warry (WA), Oreo "Aust/NZ Ch. Kimyata Puddle O Mud" was awarded Best of Breed against some lovely competition (10 points) and our cheeky puppy Astryd "Kimyata Deja Vous" was awarded Reserve Challenge and Puppy of Breed. It was a day of very close possibilities with Astyrd getting a very good consideration for Challenge bitch and Oreo a very LONG look for Best in Group, sadly Best In Group came from Australian Bred Class so he didn't get to go back in again. On the Sunday we attended the Sunshine Coast Kennel Club show with judge Mr G. Russell, Oreo was once again awarded Best of Breed (10 points) and this time a very naughty Astryd was awarded Reserve Challenge and Puppy of Breed. I was most happy this weekend with Astryd performance, after a long break from the ring for her first season, she is slowly starting to get it all together again. Once she coats up again, I think she will once again be highlighting some wonderful results.
14/01/07 - We had our first shows back for the year at the Darling Downs Kennel Club Show at Toowoomba, I only had Astryd entered and she did quite well considering the heat and how naughty she was being. Astryd took Reserve Challenge Bitch over two older bitches (Judge was Mr J. Rice (SA)) at the first Championship show, with the judge commenting on how lovely she was and that she was going to be a beautiful once matured, later that night we had an open show with Astryd taking Minor in Group (Judge was Mrs M. Morphet) out of a nice line up of 5 Minors and again the judge commenting on her saying she is a beautiful bitch... the following day Astryd was playing up a great deal and just scrapped in a Minor of Breed.
31/12/06 - The final show for 2006 was held on New Years Eve at Durack. Astryd once again showed like a trooper for breed and was awarded her first bitch Challenge. She was a close contender for Minor In Group but blew it when she started acting up.
04/12/06 - A very hot weekend at the Lockyer Valley Kennel Club Show hitting over 40 degrees both days. However even with the high tempreture we sill had a successfull day with our little Astryd taking Best Baby in Group both days, her final shows in Baby. (Judges: Mrs D. Harbin (NSW) & Mrs J. Weston (ACT)) Astryd was VERY close to taking out Best Baby in Show both days, a judge favourite, however the heat got the best of the both of us...
22/10/06 - Asian Breeds Club of Queensland Open & Championship shows were held today at Durack, with Kimyata having a very successful outing. Our little Kimyata Deja Vous taking Baby of Breed (at both the Championship and Open Show) over 2 other babies... I was very proud a very proud Mum!!
10/09/05 – Bailey “Kimyata Rendezvoius” and Astryd “Kimyata Deja Vous” made their debut at Pine Rivers Kennel Club show today… Bailey and his Mum Amber did wonderfully for their first show with Bailey outshining his sister and taking Baby of Breed at the Open show under Mrs J. Edwards (Qld). Astryd decided to prove how stubborn she was and decide to sit and not budge… she still managed to sweet talk her way into taking Baby of Breed at the Championship show under Judge: Miss J. Ainscow (Qld). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
